Chesterfield
Located in the heart of the county, Chesterfield serves as the county seat. History and small town charm come to life in this town that began nearly 250 years ago.


Ruby
Located in the center of the county, Ruby is a quaint, inviting small town. As the name would suggest, Ruby hosts the annual Jewel City Jubilee each September.

Pageland
Known as the Watermelon Capital of the World, Pageland is the second largest town in the county and is often recognized for its agriculture and local watermelon production. For nearly 75 years the town has paid tribute to the fruit by hosting the annual Pageland Watermelon Festival.

Jefferson
Located on the western-end of the county, Jefferson features a quaint downtown that is home to restaurants and retail establishments. The town’s rural setting also offers opportunities for fishing and hunting in nearby natural areas.

McBee
Once a railroad community, McBee has rich history and agriculture ties. The town is known for its large peach production and is home to the Carolina Sandhills National Wildlife Refuge.
